Biography

Louise has been working for Wokingham Borough Council since 2003 and leads a team covering a wide remit, including affordable housing delivery, economic development and strategic infrastructure policies and bids.  She took responsibility for the development of the Council’s CIL scheme in 2012 and successfully presented the case for some of the highest CIL rates in the country at the examination in 2014. Louise contributed to the Council’s response to the national CIL Review and attended an evidence session with the panel in February 2016. Louise is currently leading on a major estate regeneration project, including submitting a successful bid for Government Estate Regeneration Programme funding to support feasibility work and masterplanning. Louise has represented the Council at various public inquiries, informal hearings and Local Plan examinations and is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
