Biography

With over 20 years of experience in EIA and environmental management, Kerry leads the North West and Yorkshire Environment and Sustainability practice for Arup. Kerry has delivered numerous EIAs and supporting assessments for major and complex planning applications, specialising in Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. Kerry’s focus is delivery of meaningful solutions to environment and planning challenges, and ensuring technical information is provided in a way that is accessible to the wider project team, stakeholders and the public. Recent areas of research and development include the development of metrics to drive carbon-led design and how integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into the EIA process could lead to better project outcomes.
