Gavin Wicks joined London City Airport in 2017 as the Head of Transport Planning. He has 19 years’ experience across highway engineering and transport planning projects with engineering consultancies Arup and Mouchel.
His role is to set the airports direction for surface access and ensure it can deliver its mode share targets. Since joining the airport he has developed the airports Surface Access Strategy and its Travel Plans to position the airport to be an integrated part of the London transport infrastructure. He leads the airports engagement with the transport stakeholders through its transport forum and on its future projects, such the potential for a dedicated Elizabeth Line station.
