Daniel leads PwC’s strategy, economics and policy work in the transport sector. He is an expert on the economic appraisal of major transport projects and on the role that can be played by third party investment in delivering such projects. He served as a Panel Member on the Hansford Review and is a member of the DfT's Expert Panel on Road Investment Strategy 2. He has advised on a number of major transport projects (ranging from roads through to runway capacity) and on the design of regulatory frameworks for HIgh Speed 1 and the Elizabeth Line (aka Crossrail). He has extensive experience of competition, regulation and dispute resolution in a range of sectors. He has published on a number of subjects, most recently the development of sustainable transport frameworks and an approach we refer to as "Total Appraisal".
