Catherine is an EIA Technical Specialist within AECOM with over 15 years experience in consenting in planning regimes in Wales, England and Scotland. As the UK&I lead for nuclear and low carbon technologies, Catherine’s involvement in DCOs includes the EIA lead and expert witness for two first of a kind DCO applications for the Glyn Rhonwy pumped storage scheme and the Tata Steel internal power generation project, as well as being on the EIA Board for AECOM and providing external EIA training. Catherine was also seconded to the NuGeneration Moorside project for 2 ½ years as their EIA lead, which was at least 3 DCOs in one at the time of being a live project. Her experience also extends to equivalent regimes where she is Project Director for three Section 36 applications in Scotland and a power generation DNS in Wales.
