Why should I attend?

Taking place over 2 days, the conference is an essential update for all involved with ERTMS. Network Rail, TOCs, FOCs and the wider supply chain will gather to consider a detailed range of issues including how and when ERTMS will be delivered without impacting negatively on operations.

Day 1 will provide a detailed update on the plans for ERTMS in the UK, providing the latest insight on the timelines for delivery and the business case and benefits of the transition. Attendees will hear the latest updates on the progress to level 3, the work already underway for ERTMS in the UK, and explore the relationship between ETCS and other systems, including ATO, and the lessons that can be learnt from the delivery of these systems.

Day 2 will explore the operational and technical challenges of ERTMS delivery, from ensuring the upskilling and resourcing necessary to operate ETCS is successfully planned and delivered, to establishing the necessary safety requirements for operation. Get the latest updates on GSM-R and how to measure operational performance and predict potential problems, as well as gaining practical insight on how to ensure successful implementation and operation.

Who will I meet?

Attend to join all representatives involved with the delivery of ERTMS, from Network Rail and the Government, TOCs and FOCs, through to technology suppliers and the wider ERTMS supply chain.
