10th Annual (2020)

Community Infrastructure Levy and s106 Masterclass

A practical guide on the management, implementation and spending of the levy
Tuesday 13 October 2020 Dentons, London
With the updated CIL regulations taking effect in September 2019, ensure you are up-to-date on all aspects of CIL regulations, implementation, management and spending. This practical masterclass will explore key issues and how to overcome challenges surrounding the levy - including how to create the infrastructure funding statements, calculating CIL liability and providing insight on management and spending of CIL and developer contributions. Local authorities and developers will both explore how to practically manage the recent changes to the levy and what further reform could be needed.

Why should I attend:

Attend to receive practical guidance on the impacts that councils have encountered with implementing and spending of the levy, and how the changes are impacting infrastructure spending and delivery.
Hear insight on the uncertainty surrounding the new CIL regulations as well as the challenges and opportunities that the recent CIL regulations are creating for infrastructure delivery.
Attend to explore topics surrounding the levy including conducing viability assessments, identifying and prioritising projects for CIL spending and considering how parish and district councils can work together to optimise infrastructure delivery.
